THE ARTS MATTER...

We need to work with teachers and schools to create a powerful program where every child and young person experiences storytelling, art, design, dance, theater and music! We need teachers and schools to help grow, develop and train future designers, coaches, inventors, educators, storytellers, bouncers, craftsmen, artists, dancers, musicians and performers! It is strange that in this post-pandemic learning landscape where creativity, imagination, and ideas matter, we are more interested in literacy and numeracy than in the arts, which tend to have the skills and traits needed to perform in school, work, and life to be successful and to be successful. They both have to go hand in hand! We must start by making every child and young person a set of promises...a set of promises that will ensure that everyone receives their cultural and artistic power...at any cost!
